The candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for Ilorin East and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulwahab Oladimeji Issa has appointed Hon. Bodunrin Aisha Ibrahim, Hon. Abdullahi Ayuba Olaitan, Alh. Toyin Kajola, Alh. Yakub Olateju into his campaign council, ahead of the 2023 general elections.



Hon. Bodunrin Aisha Ibrahim is to serve as the Director General, while Hon. Abdullahi Ayuba Olaitan, Alh. Toyin Kajola and Alh. Yakub Olateju would serve as Deputy Director-Generals of the campaign council. 


According to a statement by the Press Secretary to the candidate, Aliu Ahmad Gold, on Thursday, said the campaign council is composed of 1,300 members, 20 directorates, 20 Advisers, with 40% women and 40% youth. 



The statement also confirmed that the campaign members are divided into committees and sub-committees which include voting unit canvassers, women, youths, students' mobilisation, media, legal, strategy, logistics and many more. 


Wahab charged members of the campaign council to concentrate on issues that would add value to the success of the party in the polls, saying that members should be resolute, committed and law-abiding throughout the assignment.



He urged them to start a house-to-house, door-to-door, room-to-room, place-to-place campaign, as the PDP is poised to win the election with every legal hurdle out of the way.

A Policy Analyst and Youths Advocate, Mudashir Bolakale Elelu (MBE) have charged electorates to take their destiny into their hands by enrolling and collecting their Permanent Voter Cards, PVC, to be able to vote in the 2023 general elections.
