JUST IN: Kwara Loses Pioneer Grand Khadi, Justice Abdulkadir Orire

Death has been announced of the pioneer Grand Khadi of Kwara State and the Sarkin Malamai Ilorin; Hon Justice AbdulKadir Orire (rtd). He died this evening while Janazah prayers will be held tomorrow morning, in shaa Allah.*

*May Allah accept his return and grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaos, Amin.*

A Multi-Award Winning Poet. He hails from Babanla, Kwara State Nigeria. He writes within the axial stream of poetry, prose, essaying and whatnot. A lover of nature, realms and mysticism, who enjoys reading, promoting literary engagements, community development and youth advocacy. He is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, and a Member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN).

Kwara 2023: Take Charge Of Your Destiny, Collect Your PVCs — Elelu Tells Constituents

A Policy Analyst and Youths Advocate, Mudashir Bolakale Elelu (MBE) have charged electorates to take their destiny into their hands by enrolling and collecting their Permanent Voter Cards, PVC, to be able to vote in the 2023 general elections. Elelu, shared the public service messages today while receiving youths stakeholders from Alanamu and Ajikobi constituency at his Ilorin residence, explaining that PVC is the only weapon that residents could use to vote for credible leaders. According to Elelu, “We have started mobilizing our people to get their PVCs. We urge them to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission to collect their PVCs at the council Secretariat.
