BREAKING: Unilorin Lecturer, Ighodalo, Dies Of COVID-19

 A staffer of the Universityof ilorin, Dr Martins Ighodalo has died of Covid-19 complications.

The GOLDEN TIMES gathered that this was contained in a statement made by Issa B.A., Chairman, NMA Kwara.

The statement entitled “NMA KWARA MOURNS”, Reads:

“I want to regrettably inform you about the passing to glory of Dr. Martin Ighodalo of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, University of Ilorin.”

“Martin was a class mate in the Medical School.
He was lost to complications of COVID-19.”

“May God Almighty repose his soul and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.”

A Multi-Award Winning Poet. He hails from Babanla, Kwara State Nigeria. He writes within the axial stream of poetry, prose, essaying and whatnot. A lover of nature, realms and mysticism, who enjoys reading, promoting literary engagements, community development and youth advocacy. He is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, and a Member of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN).

Kwara 2023: Take Charge Of Your Destiny, Collect Your PVCs — Elelu Tells Constituents

A Policy Analyst and Youths Advocate, Mudashir Bolakale Elelu (MBE) have charged electorates to take their destiny into their hands by enrolling and collecting their Permanent Voter Cards, PVC, to be able to vote in the 2023 general elections. Elelu, shared the public service messages today while receiving youths stakeholders from Alanamu and Ajikobi constituency at his Ilorin residence, explaining that PVC is the only weapon that residents could use to vote for credible leaders. According to Elelu, “We have started mobilizing our people to get their PVCs. We urge them to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission to collect their PVCs at the council Secretariat.
