BREAKING: Sokoto Central Market On Fire

 The Sokoto central market is being gutted by fire.

Our reporter learnt that the fire started around 7am and is still raging.

It was gathered that the fire was caused by a generating set.

“The fire started from a generating set at Kofar Yan Roba,” a fire fighter told Daily Trust.

Our reporter observed men of the federal and State fire services were currently working to extinguish the fire which has already destroyed many shops.

Kwara 2023: Take Charge Of Your Destiny, Collect Your PVCs — Elelu Tells Constituents

A Policy Analyst and Youths Advocate, Mudashir Bolakale Elelu (MBE) have charged electorates to take their destiny into their hands by enrolling and collecting their Permanent Voter Cards, PVC, to be able to vote in the 2023 general elections. Elelu, shared the public service messages today while receiving youths stakeholders from Alanamu and Ajikobi constituency at his Ilorin residence, explaining that PVC is the only weapon that residents could use to vote for credible leaders. According to Elelu, “We have started mobilizing our people to get their PVCs. We urge them to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission to collect their PVCs at the council Secretariat.
